I am still finding bits of confetti all over my house. A month later. Multiple vacuumings later. And I think of the kids throwing the stuff and saying "Happy New Year!!"

Happy Birthday!

We had my Dad over for dinner on his birthday. Homemade lasagna, French bread, and his favorite dessert: pineapple upside down cake. As I was looking for candles, my sister noticed I had a 1 from Elijah's recent birthday, and a 6 from Ellen's recent birthday. Those were the only numbers I had.



My sister declared it "a Christmas miracle."







The kids just wanted a piece of that yummy cake.



I was happy to spend the afternoon with my family.

Finally.

Just before Christmas I finally finished this quilt I started for my sister two years ago. Happy Anniversary!
