More crying. ***This is a potty post***

The day Ellen and Jack started school, Rose started "potty lessons." We'd been talking about it for weeks, maybe even a month. We had started and stopped before, and going into it I figured this would be a completely different toilet training exercise than I experienced with Ellen and Jack.

We've spent the past 9 days pretty close to home. I used a 3-day potty training method similar to the potty training in a day idea and much more reasonable than expecting superior results in just 8 or so hours. By the third day Rose was peeing in the toilet like she'd been doing it her whole life.

Number 2 has been a totally different story, and I am practically crying with relief (after literally crying with frustration in the past few days) because we actually had success on that front today. Chocolate bribes, strawberry chapstick, and privacy to do the deed (not to mention shadowing my daughter every waking moment for the past 24 hours) seem to have helped.

I am praying fervently for continued progress forward, and I have a closet full of rewards to (hopefully) help make it happen. 3 years and 7 months of diapers, done.
