Before yesterday, the last time I got my hair cut was December 2006. This is fifteen months later.



Look how long my hair is. It's the longest it has ever been in my entire life, that I remember. And that's a long time. Having long hair has been driving me crazy for about four months now. I find long hairs everywhere, and the only hair style I can handle in this windy city is a ponytail.



After I finally had ten inches and a place to get it cut, I totally went for it. Supercuts cut it for free and will mail my chopped ponytail to Locks of Love for me.



The first time I had ever heard of Locks of Love was in 2001 when one of my high school Spanish students told me about donating her hair. Since then, I've had lots of friends and family grow their hair out and send it in to be made into hairpieces for children with diseases and disorders that affect hair growth.



I love having short hair.
