While I was living in Utah going to college, I occasionally had opportunities to babysit for my aunts and uncles. I loved it. My little cousins sent me letters while I was on my mission and were always so excited to see me the few times I was able to visit. I still love hearing from them or hearing about what they're doing now, even though I don't get to visit as often as I'd like.
This past summer my cousin Mary-Martha was a Young Performing Missionary in Nauvoo. I remember visiting Nauvoo at about 13 or 14 and seeing the performers and thinking they were amazing. I still think that has got to be the coolest way ever to spend the summer.
When I opened my email this morning I found a link to this article. Thank you.
I have a picture on my refrigerator of her family together at Nauvoo when they were in the pageant together a couple of years ago. I want my kids to know that we can do things like that, too.
