Mary had a little Liam.

Welcome to Liam Jackson Mott, my newest nephew!! I went by to see my sister and her baby Tuesday morning, just hours after she had her baby.

Can I just say she spent several hours at my house Monday afternoon bouncing on an exercise ball and fighting off Rose, who was very persistent in asking, "Me turn bounce big ball minute Maymay, please?" Rose is working on learning English.

Who does Liam look most like? He has red fuzzy hair and is so cute. If Mary and Luke got married and had a baby, their baby would look just like Liam!

5/23/14 We were putting away winter clothes and looking at clothes some friends had given Rose, and I told her when she grew out of her clothes, we could give them to someone else to wear. To which she responded, "Oh, I will miss all my beautiful clothes so much!"

5/22/14 Rose: "Clothes are so important." I am relieved that this message seems to have finally gotten through to my child who started out life believing most events were clothes-optional, including playing at the park.

5/16/14 Rose randomly asked me, "Mom, why don't you sing your prayers?" Hmmmm...

5/9/14 After a pretty intense discussion about why we don't pinch the new friend we just met at the park, Rose yells at me, "Why didn't you just yell choose the right so I would remember?" Is that all it takes?

8/7/13 Elijah took off his shorts while he was supposed to be napping. I told him we needed to put them back on, and he told me "No! I don't need pants! I'm nakey-nakey." Ha.

7/14/12 Rose asked for a piece of toast, which I made her. Then she cried and said, "No, Mommy! Make me a new toast that's not toasted!" Ellen and Jack thought it was hilarious to inform their sister that it's called "bread."
