Ellen, Jack, and Rose's first rock climbing experience was great. They would have kept hiking higher and higher for as long as I would have let them. We were on a schedule, though, and this was a "let's have the kids run/hike their energy out before our next stop" stop.

You're killing me. Larry's brother lives about five minutes from Garden of the Gods. I'm glad you are having fun in this beautiful world.
Looks like so much fun!! Glad you guys are enjoying every step! SO bummed we missed you when you came to Lubbock. Kai ended up having to go the hospital that Sunday you were at church, and I mis-read the bbq announcement and thought it was the Friday after the one when you were in town. Sorry!! I would have loved to have seen you!
