Still getting into the season

Jack has a stealth dimple that only shows up when he's practicing extreme winking. He can also curl his tongue like a burrito.

Rose has crazy clothes coordinating skills, not to mention the winking as well.

My kids might have super powers.

5/23/14 We were putting away winter clothes and looking at clothes some friends had given Rose, and I told her when she grew out of her clothes, we could give them to someone else to wear. To which she responded, "Oh, I will miss all my beautiful clothes so much!"

5/22/14 Rose: "Clothes are so important." I am relieved that this message seems to have finally gotten through to my child who started out life believing most events were clothes-optional, including playing at the park.

8/7/13 Elijah took off his shorts while he was supposed to be napping. I told him we needed to put them back on, and he told me "No! I don't need pants! I'm nakey-nakey." Ha.

7/14/12 Rose asked for a piece of toast, which I made her. Then she cried and said, "No, Mommy! Make me a new toast that's not toasted!" Ellen and Jack thought it was hilarious to inform their sister that it's called "bread."
